WARRIOR of Accountability
Does being an entrepreneur sometimes feel like a lonely experience? Even if people surround us, our struggles are our own and non-entrepreneurs don’t necessarily get it. So today we’re getting some advice from the trenches on entrepreneurship, from someone who’s been down and out and back again who truly knows what it’s like to be a Lonely Entrepreneur.
Michael Dermer is an entrepreneur, speaker, lawyer, and author of The Lonely Entrepreneur. Michael discovered what would become The Lonely Entrepreneur methodology when his company – the first to provide financial rewards for healthy behavior that he built for over a decade - was nearly destroyed by the financial crisis of 2008. Here’s a great quote by our guest today, “Your vision is unique. Your problems are not” that I think provides great perspective.
Michael overcame the struggle by changing his perspective and applying what has become The Lonely Entrepreneur methodology. After two years of twenty hour days, Michael was able to revive his company and sell it in 2013.
Today, Michael is considered the founder of not only a company, but an industry – rewarding individuals for healthy behavior. Michael is now a professional speaker, consultant, and coach for startup businesses and entrepreneurs.
